Hi, I'm Kendra, and I started my career here at Corewell Health as an Onboarding Coordinator before transitioning into my current role as a Recruiting Coordinator. Throughout my time here, I've developed a passion for creating positive candidate experiences, supporting hiring teams, and helping improve recruitment processes. I enjoy building connections with people and contributing to a team that helps make a difference in both employee and patient experiences.

How would you describe the culture here?
The culture here at Corewell is collaborative, supportive, and mission driven. People genuinely work together to help one another succeed while keeping patients and the community at the center of what we do. Its an environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and continuous learning.

What part of your work makes you feel like you're making a difference?

What makes me feel like I'm making a difference is being able to support candidates during such an important step in their journey and helping create a positive experience for them. I enjoy knowing that the work I do behind the scenes helps departments grow and ultimately supports patient care across the organization. Even the small interactions can have a lasting impact, and that's what makes the work meaningful to me.

What's your favorite season? 
FALL!! I love the cozy atmosphere and the balance between warm days and cool evenings. It's also my favorite time to spend quality time with family, enjoy seasonal activities, and reset before the holidays. Fall just has a comforting feeling that I always look forward to each year.
