Patient Transport
 The Patient Transport team works in our facilities taking patients to and from exams and treatments while providing quality patient care.
A typical day in this role includes:
  • Transports all patients and equipment to and from testing and procedure areas including inpatient, outpatient, emergency and high risk Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Prepares patient for transport and performs passive and active identification to ensure all patients are properly identified before transporting
  • Responsible for the timely discharge of patients throughout the hospital
