The Corewell Health Sterile Processing Tech Registered Apprenticeship Program combines online coursework, simulation learning and on the job training. As an apprentice in this program, you will:
• Complete online coursework and simulations (totally-free) with a loaner laptop, if needed
• Apply coursework learned while you work in a sterile processing setting and earn wages at Corewell Health as a Sterile Processing Tech apprentice.
• Qualify to obtain a registered Sterile Processing Tech certification, a recognized credential from U.S. Department of Labor.
• Prepare for certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.
• Apply coursework learned while you work in a sterile processing setting and earn wages at Corewell Health as a Sterile Processing Tech apprentice.
• Qualify to obtain a registered Sterile Processing Tech certification, a recognized credential from U.S. Department of Labor.
• Prepare for certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.
Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma, equivalent or GED.
• Fulfill training provider admission requirements.
• Ability to commit to Corewell Health for two years after program completion.
• Complete application process and submit required documents.
