Unpaid internships for nonclinical and clinical rotations are either pre-established through your educational institution, community organization, or your host, and should be pre-identified prior to request. We are committed to meeting the U.S. Department of Labor Guidelines in terms of what constitutes an unpaid internship experience. An affiliation agreement is required.
A job shadow provides students and other community members the chance to observe a professional and ask questions about their career in a “hands-off” environment. These experiences are permitted up to 40 hours per calendar year. If you’re interested in a job shadow at Corewell Health, use your network to connect with a Corewell Health team member in an area that interests you.
