With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Corewell Health Lakeland Watervliet Hospital is a 49-bed hospital serving northern Berrien and western Van Buren counties with primary and specialty care. The hospital provides general community hospital services, including emergency care, acute inpatient rehabilitation, laboratory services, radiology, and surgery. The inpatient rehabilitation facilities at Corewell Health Lakeland Watervliet Hospital hold the only accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in Berrien County. Community Medical Center, located inside the hospital, offers internal and occupational medicine services as well as a walk-in clinic.
