Can you share a moment when you felt proud of the work you do?
One moment that truly stands out for me was during an interview with a candidate for a Nurse Tech position at Gerber Hospital. As part of my process, I always try to understand a candidate’s “why,” and she shared that she lost her father in a house fire at the age of ten. That experience inspired her to become a volunteer firefighter and EMT so she could be there for others in her community during their most difficult moments. Knowing she is now interviewing with our Emergency Department leadership makes me incredibly proud—both of her journey and of Corewell Health’s ability to empower people to find purpose, growth, and light through even the hardest experiences.
What is your favorite benefit at Corewell Health?
My favorite benefit at Corewell Health is BeWell! I love how it prioritizes the whole person and gives us real tools to support our well‑being, growth, and balance, inside and outside of work. If you look to the side, you'll see Corewell Health accepting the Bronze American Hospital Association Excellence Award for Healthcare Workers' Wellbeing due to this program!
What's your "productivity playlist" vibe?
My productivity playlist vibe is pure energy! Give me 90’s rap, EDM beats (look up T-Swift EDM remixes on Spotify), and anything disco or funky, and I’m locked in and ready to go.
