Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve been with Corewell Health for a little over seven years. I began my journey in the Radiology department as a Staff Scheduler before transitioning into Talent Attraction as an Onboarding Coordinator about four years ago. I love being part of Talent Attraction because I get to be part of someone’s very first experience with the organization!

What part of your onboarding experience made you feel the most welcomed?
What made me feel most welcomed during my onboarding was the support and kindness I received from everyone. My onboarder consistently checked in, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and prepared for my first day. This support didn’t come from just my onboarder, but from all the team members at the Welcome Center as well.

As an onboarding coordinator at Corewell Health, I feel I make a difference by fully supporting new hires as they step into a new chapter of their careers. I help ensure they feel welcomed, confident, and prepared as they begin their journey at Corewell Health.
Favorite way to recharge outside of work?
My favorite way to recharge outside of work is spending time in my yard. I love gardening, playing catch with my kids, and sitting by bonfires.
