Hi, I’m Mikayla! I’m a Lead Recruiter primarily supporting East Rapid Hire, while also overseeing West Rapid Hire, South, and Continuing Care. I’m passionate about helping entry-level candidates get their start and feel confident as they begin their careers. I specialize in running job fairs and have been doing so for the past seven years. I love creating positive, welcoming hiring experiences that connect people with real opportunities. I also work closely with my manager, Scott Douse, partnering with him to support his needs and initiatives and help drive recruiting success across the teams we support.

How would you describe the culture here?
Our culture is incredibly collaborative. Even though our team is spread across three different regions, it never feels that way. If you saw us all together, you’d never know we work in separate parts of the state. There’s a strong sense of connection and teamwork, and everyone is always willing to jump in and support one another. There’s always something new to learn here, and that shared mindset makes our team highly collaborative and a great place to grow.

What part of your work makes you feel like you're making a difference?

What makes me feel like I’m truly making a difference is hiring people early in their careers and then watching them grow. It’s incredibly rewarding to bring someone in at an entry-level role and later see them get promoted, gain confidence, and really thrive in what they do. Knowing I played a small part in helping them get started and build a path forward is what makes this work meaningful to me.
