I love my current role as a Radiologic Technologist because the work is intrinsically rewarding, and my coworkers couldn't be more supportive. As a recent graduate, I feel that I had an easier transition into my full-time position due to the encouraging atmosphere my team has created. Radiologic imaging has fascinated me for many years, and we are such a vital part of each patient's care plan despite the short time we may spend with them. The years I've trained in this career have only strengthened my passion for patient care, medical imaging modalities, and advocacy for the field of radiologic technology.

I've been an RT for 11 years now!  I spent the majority of my career in Vascular Interventional (IR and Cath Lab).  I started a new journey in Pediatric CT at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.  I love challenging myself and evolving as a technologist.  I appreciate that Radiology offers so many opportunities to learn new skills and cross-train.  We have a wonderful team here at Corewell Health that truly cares about giving these kids a positive patient experience.

My colleagues in the Nuclear Medicine and CT departments have been a constant source of support. Their mentorship helped me become a confident tech, which led me to explore even more opportunities within Corewell Health. Having the privilege of following some patients through multiple exams across both departments has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. Without the support from both the Nuclear Medicine and CT departments, I wouldn't have been able provide care to as many patients as I have. I'm grateful for the experience and proud to be part of such an incredible team.
